Melissa Auf Der Maur announces new album, releases video

The strong-willed Melissa Auf Der Maur has confirmed that she will be releasing a new 12-song solo album due out on March 23rd. The new album, entitled Out of Our Minds, promises to be an ambitious piece of conceptual art that will also include a film by Tony Stone that was debuted at Sundance. “OUT OF OUR MINDS | OOOM began as a song,” Auf Der Maur writes on her website. “It was the early stages of making this second solo album. I was in French Kiss Studios working with my solid CANADIAN collaborators. The song introduced itself as songs do, and the heart of the album was born: ‘Travel Out Of Our Minds, Into Our Hearts Standing By.’”

She has also released the video to her newest single, “Out Of Our Minds,” or OOOM, on her web site.
