Them Crooked Vultures: entire Austin City Limits performance available
Them Crooked Vultures, the band formed by bassist John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin, drummer Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and guitarist/vocalist Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, just performed on Austin City Limits last Saturday, February 13th. The show was taped September 30, 2009, two months before the release of the band’s first album.
If you missed it, don’t despair. The entire show is now available on Austin City Limits’s web site.
Am I the only one that thinks they're the most overhyped suck-ass band in a decade?
me too.
Tinkerbar,
Everybody is entitled to their opinion. I disagree with your view of TCV.
TCV bring their own style and sound back to a listening audience. John Paul Jones is a BASS LEGEND and seems to be having the time of his life playing and it shows. JPJ and Dave Grohl are “locked in” with each song and are a compliment to the band. REAL STRONG 4 piece rock group.
Best regards,
Joel

It’s just that this song is a bit too long. But it’s fresh, ferocious, John and Dave are playing superbly fine… to me, it’s a joy! ;)
