Slipknot’s Chris Fehn to Play Bass for Will Haven

Chris FehnWill Haven has announced that Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn will be filling in on bass after Mike Martin left the group to take care of his family.

In a statement, the band said, “We have found our new bass player and we are more than excited about it. Our long-time brother and close friend Chris Fehn has joined the family. He is here with us tonight recording for the new demo and already has had tons of input making this record even more amazing, so we are more than stoked to have him with us.”

Slipknot has been on a break to work on side projects, and according to the release, Fehn will rejoin them when they are ready to make a new record. Until then, he will be working on a new album and touring with Will Haven.

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast.
