Joseph Patrick Moore Releases “To Africa With Love”

Joseph Patrick Moore: To Africa With LoveJoseph Patrick Moore‘s latest album, To Africa With Love, releases today. The album is the Moore’s eighth solo effort, fusing funk, pop, jazz and tribal rhythms together to form his tribute to the people of Africa.

Moore set out to create an album for a “continent that has experienced so much injustice and tragedy.”

“Music has the power to uplift, connect, heal and create universal harmony for the human race,” Moore says. “As God’s vessel, each of us are on a spiritual journey to develop and embrace the gifts He has given to us… and share them for and with our fellow man.”

The album includes 11 tracks – nine original and two cover tunes – performed by Tyrone Jackson on keys, Wayne Viar on drums and percussion and Brian Carl on guitar. Guest artists include guitarist Charlie Wood (performing on The Meters’ “Fire On The Bayou”) and vocalist Seth Condrey (on “To Africa With Love”).
