Summer NAMM’s “Wanna Play Sunday” to Feature Victor Wooten

Summer NAMM Wanna Play SundayThis year’s Summer NAMM show in Nashville will include the first ever “Wanna Play Sunday,” which will be open to the public. The event takes place on Sunday June 20th (the last day of NAMM), and will include music education sessions on how to get endorsed, how to set up a home studio, and more. Also on the itinerary are clinics from some successful musicians in the industry. Most notably, Victor Wooten will be demonstrating his playing as well as participating in a “wrap-up performance” with guitarist Eric Struthers of the Neville Brothers.

”Wanna Play Sunday” will offer more events and open its show floor to help inspire and educate musicians on the inner workings of the music industry. Tickets are $20, but you can receive a 50% off coupon from your local participating music store. You can buy them at the Nashville Convention Center on the day of the show, but the organization suggests you pre-order online.

For a full schedule, ticketing, and list of participating music stores, visit NAMM on the web.
