Sex Pistols’ Glen Matlock Joins The Faces for Reunion
The band, which is set to perform at England’s Vintage at Goodwood festival on August 13th, is also in talks to bring special guests on stage including Slash, Noel Gallagher, and Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes. The Faces are also working out an upcoming tour.
Glen Matlock co-founded the Sex Pistols in 1975 and was replaced by Sid Vicious after his departure in 1977, though he subsequently returned for reunions. He is often credited with writing the bulk of the music for the Sex Pistols, where singer Johnny Rotten wrote the lyrics. Matlock has claimed the Faces as one of his biggest musical influences.
