Gear Watch: Eastwood Left-Handed Airline Map Bass

Eastwood Left-Handed Airline Map Bass Sea Foam Green

Eastwood Guitars has introduced the Left-Handed Airline Map Bass, which is now shipping. The bass, which is available in sea foam green or black, is a throwback to the 1962 National Newport.

The Airline Map features a tone-chambered mahogany body with a bolt-on, bound maple neck. The fingerboard is rosewood with block-markers. The pickups on this retro bass are two matched Alnico Hot-10 Humbuckers with three-way switching, separate volume, and a combined tone control.

The release, along with the guitar model, bring Eastwood up to 18 different lefty-models. “It has always been our policy to cater to the left-handed players of the world,” said Mike Robinson, President and founder of Eastwood Guitars, “and we will continue to expand our selection of lefty models to include all of our top selling guitars.”
