Bass Line EncyclopediaAlfred Music has just released the Bass Line Encyclopedia by Tim Ferguson.

The book is a reference for bass players to expand their knowledge of genres and styles, therefore increasing their versatility. It features over 100 bass lines in tons of styles, including Chicago blues, Texas blues, heavy metal, punk, funk, bebop, jazz, reggae, samba, bluegrass, and more. The lines are written in both music and tab notation so all readers can follow along.

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast.
