White Zombie’s Sean Yseult Announces Book Release

Sean Yseult: I'm In the BandFormer White Zombie bassist Sean Yseult has announced that her new book, I’m In the Band: Backstage Notes from the Chick in White Zombie, will be hitting stores on November 1st.

The book chronicles her time in the band through a combination of tour diaries, flyers, and photos to document her role as a female in a male dominated genre.

I’m in the Band is the “story of my journey from CBGBs to arenas, with the rare female perspective in a guy’s world of heavy metal,” Yseult writes. “It is also the unlikely story of a girl who played the bass and won the respect of millions of male metal fans, as an equal.”

Yseult was a founding member of White Zombie in 1985, and was with the group for all 13 years of their existence. For more details on her book, visit Sean’s website.
