Meshell Ndegeocello: Satisfy, Live (2000)

Meshell Ndegeocello lays down a nice groove in this live performance of “Satisfy” in 2000.

Ndegeocello starts off with her Warwick, offering a nice tone for the tune, before switching to her Fender Jazz and really getting down. She even quotes Hendrix’s “Power of Soul” near the end.

She is such a musical genius. I honestly don’t think it would matter what she decided to play the talent would instantly come through. I’ve always loved her playing.

I could listen to her groove all night long! She is one of the tastiest bass players around!
