Fender Expands Rumble Bass Amplification Line
Fender has expanded their Rumble Bass amplification line with the inclusion of the Rumble 150 and 350 heads with supporting 1×12, 2×8, and 4×10 cabinets. The heads, rated at 150- and 350-watts respectively, feature built-in overdrive controls with Gain and Blend knobs as well as a 4-band EQ with Punch and Scoop switches. The amps also feature an XLR Line Out, effects loop, and headphone jack.
The Rumble 112, 2×8, and 410 are built to pair best with their Rumble head counterparts thanks to a unique magnetic system that holds the amps securely on top of the cabs without causing interference from vibration. The 112 and 2×8 have the most in common, including 500-watt ratings, neodymium speakers and tweeters that are switchable from full on, off, and –6dB. The 112 weighs in at 24 pounds while the 2×8 comes in at 28 pounds. The Rumble 410 also has a switchable tweeter, but includes a 1,000-watt rating, four 10” Fender Special Design speakers, and removable casters.
The Fender Rumble 150 and 350 heads carry MSRP’s of $399.99 and $549.99. The Rumble 112 and 2×8 cabinets will MSRP for $549.99, and the 410 will be available for $449.99. For more info, visit the Fender website.
