Report: Mike Starr Found Dead

MTV, TMZ and others are reporting that ex-Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr was found dead this afternoon, by police in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was 44 years old.

Starr, who made an appearance on VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab” in 2009, was arrested last month on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.

There has been no word on the cause of death at this time, as the story is developing.
