Ibanez Releases Peter Iwers Signature PIB2 Bass
Ibanez has released a new Peter Iwers Signature bass, the PIB2. Finished in Pearl White with an inlay, the In Flames bassist’s new axe is a 5-string that comes factory-tuned to the his preference: Eb, Bb, F, C, Bb.

The body is a 3D contoured version of the company’s SR body made of Maple. The 5-piece neck is a combination of maple and walnut with a Rosewood fingerboard that has Abalone off-set dot inlays. The hardware is finished in gold, and includes a Mono-Rail IV bridge that features locking saddles to prevent vibrating strings from interfering with each other. For simplicity, the pickups are passive Bartolini custom soapbars with a single volume control.
The Ibanez Peter Iwers PIB2 Bass is available now for a street price around $1,100. For more info, visit the Ibanez website.
