The Rockin’ Chair Bass
Last week we featured a video about a bass being built into a snowboard.
This time, it’s a little different.
According to the guys who made this, “the Rockin Chair was invented on a coffee break at a newspaper in Värmland, Sweden, back in 1984 by the journalist Kjell Palmers and noted by his college Stefan Markebo. Many years later Stefan thought it would be a good idea to really build this handy instrument.”
What’s next? (Whatever it is, we can’t wait to see it.)
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
I saw those chairs at Ikea! (Swedish joke..)
These idiots just make a mockery of bass and people that build real instruments.
