Chandler Limited Releases Two New Effects Pedals
Chandler Limited is now shipping their first effects pedals: the Germanium Drive and Little Devil Colored Boost. Known for their high-end equipment, the company channels their studio gear savvy into the stompboxes, which work for bass, guitar or keyboard. Both pedals feature true bypass and run on dual 9v power supplies or a pair of 9v batteries.
Germanium Drive
Inspired by their germanium preamps, the Germanium Drive has a feedback selector with five settings and a drive control (it goes to 11!).
The five feedbacks modify the tone, harmonic distortion, and clipping of the pedal from “lightly driven to slightly fuzzy to full on germanium hell.”
Further tone shaping is achieved from the Highs switch, which adjusts the high frequencies and overall brightness of the pedal, and a Boost Range Switch, which boosts either the highs, mids, or full range of frequencies.

Little Devil Colored Boost
The Little Devil is somewhere between a clean boost and a fuzz. Similar to the Germanium Drive, it also has a preset knob to select between six feedback/bias modes, while the Color Boost knob controls the gain and garners up to a 37 dB boost. The little Devil also shares the Highs and Boost Range switches for tonal flexibility.
