Tool Expands Winter Tour with New Dates

ToolTool has released more dates for their upcoming North American winter tour, including more shows on the East Coast. New performances are slated for the New England area as well as North Carolina and Florida. It’s also been announced that the progressive metal outfit Intronaut will provide opening support on their early shows.

Though the band is secretive about their work, bassist Justin Chancellor revealed early in 2011 that the group is working on their next album. ”…We were asked to do some dates in Europe later [in 2011], but we’re not going to do them,” He told the Honolulu Pulse. “We’re really deep in the middle of getting music together for the album. It’s a really cool thing to be in the middle of this process, and it’s my hope we can capture something special in the studio.”
