Nikki Sixx: “Mötley Crüe’s Las Vegas Residency to be an Extravaganza”

Mötley Crüe in Sin CityMötley Crüe will the first hard rock band to have a residency in Las Vegas after their 12-date stay at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino next month, running from February 3rd to February 19th, 2012.

Entitled “Mötley Crüe in Sin City,” the residency will include an even larger scale production from their regular shows, the band says.

“We’ve been ironing out all the production details for the shows in Vegas at The Joint at the Hard Rock,” bassist Nikki Sixx reports. “This is the biggest production MÖTLEY CRÜE has ever done to date and everybody creatively is shooting for the moon. We can’t wait to see the look on your faces when we unveil this monster to you guys in February.”

In the tradition of Vegas entertainment, the performances will be more than just a concert and are said to be “incredibly interactive.”

“Just to clarify,” Sixx adds, “it IS NOT just a rock show, it’s an EXTRAVAGANZA. Can you guess what that might mean?”
