Victor Wooten and The Roots: Live Jam
Wow, when we first reported the news that Victor Wooten would be joining The Roots on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show, we were really excited about that line up coming together.
And these guys did not disappoint.
Here’s a clip from the show, where Vic and company perform a variation of the tune “Flex”, from his 2008 release, Palmystery.
The only problem with this clip is that it is way too short. Now we’re sitting here wishing and hoping that an album might materialize. Or just more of this.
Also worth noting that the Root’s new bassist, Mark Kelly is laying down the low end, making it extra bass-worthy.

I was so hyped for this! I recorded it and this was all that they showed on T.V. Boycotting that punk Fallon for not giving us any more footage than this. Just think what the live audience got during comercial breaks!
