Larry Graham and Graham Central Station Play Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger”
Yep, you read that right.
During an appearance on the Dutch radio show GIEL to promote his European tour, Larry Graham and his band Graham Central Station took current pop music head on by tackling the Maroon 5 tune “Moves Like Jagger”.
Armed with his iconic white bass and some gnarly effects, the slap bass innovator nails the tune and adds his own signature sound.
Is it me, or did this song just get a lot cooler?
If that ain’t the grooviest bass…
and an amazing remake.
That was hot!!
The mic on the bass is interesting :-)
HELL YHEAH BAD ASS TUNE.
ummmm….this is really, really, bad.
that was explicit sexual content!
I have to agree with E Scott Esbeck. if this was any bassist off the street it wouldn’t have ever graced these pages. Larry graham is a great bass player but this is just embarrassing.
Wow. And I thought the original was bad.
I dig it!
That which has been seen cannot be undone… however much I’d like to.
Nasty Hook
sounds like really bad karaoke version of the original.anyone who says different needs to have there ears cleaned, with all due respect mr graham sounds like garbage, lol.
Man that really sounds horrible… I’m badly disappointed.
Who amung us has not covered some crappy song – let him throw the first stone….
I agree with the author, a substantial improvement over the original.
I always hated this song — but once again the slap-bass King brings it to a whole other dimension.
