Warwick Updates RockBass Corvette Basic Line of Basses

Warwick’s Corvette Basic lines include three new editions this year with the introduction of a short-scale 4-string, a medium-scale 4-string and an active 6-string bass. These basses are part of the company’s low cost instruments and are made in China. The Corvette Basic Short Scale bass is a 30¾? scale bass, the medium scale is 32?, and the 6-String is a 34? scale bass.
All of the basses in the new Corvette Basic lines are available in both fretted and fretless options, and right- and left-handed versions. The short- and medium-scale basses are only available as 4-string basses.
Warwick offers a choice of electronics on the short- and medium-scales, with active MEC J/J pickups and active two-way electronics, or with passive MEC J/J pickups and passive electronics. For the Active 6-string, the bass comes equipped with active MEC Soapbar pickups with active two-way electronics.
All three basses sport a Maple neck with Ekanga veneer stripes, Rosewood fingerboard and Alder body. The 6-string fretless is made with Tigerstripe Ebony. Finish options include Natural Satin or Black High Polish.
