Incubus Releases “HQ Live” CD/DVD Set

Last year, Incubus celebrated their 20th anniversary with a set of special performances at an art gallery in downtown Los Angeles. The six-day event provided fans an intimate experience with the band and, thankfully, was completely documented by the band. It’s now available in a package entitled HQ Live
, a two-CD/one-DVD set chock-full of audio, behind the scenes footage, interviews and more. Bassist Ben Kenney says the performances caught the band in their element.

“With these shows, we were home so it was relaxed,” he told Noise Creep. “There was no stress of travel and it allowed us to just be ourselves and give the fans something special in a unique setting without worrying about the usual stuff you think about once a record is done and you have to go out and talk about it.”

Kenney went on to confirm that the band will be taking a hiatus after their trek with Linkin Park on the Honda Civic Tour. Fans need not worry, though, as he promised the band would be back and better than ever.
