Victor Wooten: Music as a Language
Besides being and incredible bassist, Victor Wooten is an equally talented educator.
Check out this TED-Ed video of Wooten offering words of wisdom while he plays his rendition of “Amazing Grace.”
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.

Well natural language isn’t natural.
I want to mean that musi help show your soul when usual words can’t and music show soul to is basic
Much as I appreciate both Vic’s words and his playing, the spoken word certainly gets in the way of the music here.
Thats his point.Speaking
Unfortunately, not everyone gets the opportunity to hang out with the “adults” who speak the language of music proficiently. Unless they can pay for it. Most are left to their own devices or whatever else is available.
Then look in the mirror and talk to yourself lol!!!
Haha… then I’m afraid I would be hanging out with fools.
By judging yourself a fool, you’ve shown you are not one.
wow!
Dude’s got some talent.
