Electro-Harmonix Announces Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi

Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff PiElectro-Harmonix has unveiled their latest bass specific pedal with the Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi. Building on its predecessor, the Deluxe has the same Volume, Tone, and Sustain controls, but adds a -10dB input pad, a Blend knob and a noise gate.

Another new feature is a foot-switchable crossover section that’s split into two parts: a low pass filter on the dry signal and a high pass filter on the distorted signal. The pedal is set for connectivity with a 1/4? effect out, 1/4? direct out, and an XLR DI out.

Built in the USA, the Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi will be available soon with a list price of $153.20.

  7. Read the spec sheet… 125Hz is a little high in my opinion for the bottom of the HPF, but that might actually work nicely. Releasing in January – bye bye El Grande.
