Muse Announces More World Tour Dates

After being nominated for two Grammy awards earlier this month, Muse has announced further tour dates for the remainder of 2012 and a good portion of 2013. The band released The 2nd Law in October and has concerts lined up across the globe through July of next year in support of the album.

Newly announced shows include a third night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California as well as a handful of dates in the West Coast and Canada.

Muse’s recent touring has been a new experience for bassist Chris Wolstenholme, who has taken over singing duties on two of the songs he wrote on the new album: “Save Me” and “Liquid State.” He admits that it was a more daunting task than he was ready for at first.

“Singing live was really, really tough at first,” the bassist told Contact Music. “I was pretty gutted after the first show because I wasn’t really prepared for the nerves, so as soon as I started singing I felt my legs going and I started wobbling and it was a bit of a disaster. I got over it fairly quickly, though, and I’m starting to enjoy it now.”
