The Aristocrats Release “Boing, We’ll Do It Live!”

The Aristocrats: Boing, We’ll Do It Live!Rock/fusion power trio The Aristocrats have followed up their debut with a new live release, Boing, We’ll Do It Live! The release captures the live performance of bassist Bryan Beller, guitarist Guthrie Govan and drummer Marco Minnemann over two nights at Alvas Showroom in San Pedro, CA in June of 2012.

The release is being offered in two formats: a standard edition 2-CD set with 14 tracks and a deluxe edition with 2 CDs plus DVD offering the complete live performance video, additional bonus tracks, audio from the soundcheck and interviews with each band members.

The Aristocrats officially formed “practically by demand” after a set by the trio at the Winter NAMM show in January 2011. The band released their debut album in September and spent a year touring the world. And it is the live setting that continues to define and inspire the group and this release.

“We’re all definitely proud of the studio album, but we were just getting to know each other when we cut it,” said Beller “Now that we’ve traveled the world together, we really get each other musically and personally. Honestly, we spend a lot of time making each other laugh to the point of tears. I think that really comes through live, the sense that we’re friends walking a high wire together musically, but also that, sometimes, we just choose to be extremely silly. Somehow it all works.”

Boing… offers up the entire Aristocrats repertoire with additional tunes from each of the trio’s individual catalogs, plus a brand new, previously unreleased song, “Dance Of The Aristocrats.” It is available via the band’s web store. Digital formats are also available, via iTunes and Amazon MP3.
