Bugra Balci Releases “The Virtuoso Bassist in 14 Melodic Baroque Etudes”
As a bassist, Bugra Balci gained inspiration from working through Bach’s Cello Suites, which he says gave him a deep, wide approach to the bass and musicality. He’s taken those concepts of building technique through examples that go beyond exercises in his latest instructional book, The Virtuoso Bassist in 14 Melodic Baroque Etudes.
“All the etudes are in this book for electric/acoustic bass and they are all “music” with their own technical combinations for practicing bass to build advanced technique,” Balci writes in the introduction. “In this book, I present the way of being a bass virtuoso to you by playing ‘music.’”
The Virtuoso Bassist in 14 Melodic Baroque Etudes is available in Kindle and paperback versions.
