Gigantour 2013 to Feature Megadeth, Black Label Society, Newsted
The 2013 round of Gigantour has been announced, and this year promises to be another great summer of metal. Hosted and headlined by Megadeth, the package tour will include performances by Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, Newsted and Death Division. If you’re keeping track, that means fans will be able to see David Ellefson, Jason Newsted, JD DiServio, Bobzilla and Jerry Montano all in one night.
“This year’s power-packed lineup is probably the best Gigantour yet, and we’ve had some pretty massive Gigantours over the years,” stated Megadeth frontman and festival founder Dave Mustaine. “Gigantour 2013 brings four of my favorite bands, each centered around a superstar. With Zakk [Wylde], David [Draiman], Vinnie [Abbott], and Jason [Newsted] there are going to be fans from Ozzy to Disturbed to Pantera to Metallica and everything that’s metal in-between! Don’t miss the metal festival of the summer!”
Gigantour 2013 kicks off on July 3rd in Gilford, New Hampshire and makes its way across the U.S. and Canada. The final show is August 11th in Toronto, Canada. VIP packages are available.
