La Bella Announces RX Series Bass Strings
La Bella has introduced the RX-series of bass strings, available in Stainless Steel and Nickel-Plated Steel versions. The sets are built with a hard temper wire that’s produced from American wire mills.
The strings unique round wound construction is based around a hexagonal core to prevent buzzing and offer better intonation. The company describes the strings as more flexible and lighter in tension than their SN & M Series.
The RX Series comes in 4-, 5-, and 6-string sets in Standard Long Scale as well as Short, Medium, and Extra Long scales. There are four gauges to choose from: A (.040, .060, .080, .100), B (.045, .066, .080, .100), C (.045, .065, .080, .105), and D (.045, .065, .085, .105).
