Crowbar Announces New Bassist

A month after bassist Pat Bruders left the band, the iconic New Orleans metal band Crowbar has announced their new bass player is Jeff Golden.
“After 100’s of bass video submissions and many jam sessions, we have decided that Jeff Golden is the man!” the group announced on their Facebook page.
The news comes as bandleader Kirk Windstein leaves the ranks of fellow New Orleans-based group Down in order to focus on Crowbar.
“I will say it again… With my decision months ago to focus 100% on CROWBAR,” he stated. “[Patrick Bruders] resigned as our bassist, and I respect his decision because it’s impossible to give 100% to two bands. I am giving my ALL to CROWBAR as he is giving his ALL to DOWN. There is no animosity… no drama… Just great music being written by all, and that sounds pretty awesome to me!”
Crowbar will enter the studio on December 16th to start working on their tenth full-length studio album with an expected Spring 2014 release.
