Sandberg Announces 5-String MarloweDK Signature Bass
Two years after issuing MarloweDK’s signature bass, Sandberg has unveiled a five string version of the instrument. The MarloweDK 5-string bass retains most of the features of the four-string with a few adjustments to accommodate for the extra string.
Built with an alder body and a bolt-on maple neck, the bass has a longer 35″ scale for a more powerful B string.
MarloweDK helped design the bass to have a slightly thinner neck and also a new customized position for the Sandberg Alnico pickups.
The new model comes standard in a Hardcore Aged Black finish, but it’s also available in all of Sandberg’s colors and finish types.
The bass is scheduled to hit the streets in 2014. For more info, check out the Sandberg website.

How much?
According to G&B 02/14 it’s about 1990 EUR.
Is the 5 string a better fit the she 4 string marlowe dk signature bass?
The body shape on the Sandberg site is different….. ?
