2013 Reader Favorite Bassists – #5: Joe Dart
Back in June, 2011, our Facebook friend Noah Sider shared a video with us that made me an instant fan of band known as Vulfpeck. There’s a ton to love about this band, as it is comprised of some monster musicians who know how to have fun and really know how to lay it down.
But it was bassist Joe Dart that really caught my attention. He just has it… that in-the-pocket groove that can’t be taught.
And so, as one of Vulfpeck and Dart’s biggest fans, I was thrilled to see that readers agreed in 2013, watching Joe and the guys do their thing so much that it propelled him to #5 on our 2013 Top 10 Reader Favorite list.
