Vulfpeck fans with keen eyes may have noticed that Joe Dart was sporting a new bass in the latest Fearless Flyers videos. Now Ernie Ball Music Man has revealed the instrument to be the Joe Dart II, which adds to the company’s line of artist basses.

The Fearless Flyers have just announced they’re releasing a new album, “The Fearless Flyers III”. Here’s the first track, “Patrol Acrobatique”, with Joe Dart, Cory Wong, Nate Smith, and Mark Lettieri laying down the funk.
We first shared a video by Vulfpeck in 2011 (“Beastly“), and we were instant fans of the band and Joe Dart. It took a few years for Joe to hit the Reader Favorite list, and he’s been a mainstay since. He’s #8 on this year’s list.
