Regenerate Guitars Introduces Bill Clements Signature 4-String Bass

Regenerate Guitar Works debuted their first artist signature model at NAMM this year with their Bill Clements Signature 4-string bass. Clements, who is known for his wicked left hand tapping style, worked closely with the company to make the bass’s design the exact type he would use.

“Unlike many artist signature models where the artist is playing a customized version of the production model, Bill wanted to ensure that the configuration he’s playing is identical to the production offering,” says Rod Banach of Regenerate. “With this directive in mind, the only option available is a choice between Bill’s preferred light string gauge tuning of BEAD or a standard string gauge EADG tuning.”

The bass is built with a Topalox body, which is hand selected for tap tone resonance and weight. Its neck is Eastern Maple with a modern ‘C’ contour and a 12″ fingerboard radius. The bass is fitted with a Nordstrand NP/J4SE pickup set that’s complemented with passive electronics. Other features include a Babicz Full Contact Hardware bridge, Schaller tuners, and a SKB gig bag.

The Regenerate Guitar Works Bill Clements Signature 4-String Bass is made in Washington state and carries a street price of $1,995.
