Rolling Stones Gear: All the Stones’ Instruments from Stage to StudioIf you love The Rolling Stones and want to know just about everything about the band’s instruments, from Bill Wyman’s Framus Star Bass onward, there’s a book out there for you.

Rolling Stones Gear: All the Stones’ Instruments from Stage to Studio documents every song recorded by the band, with the legendary rock group’s history told through the lens of the instruments used to create its music.

Written by Andy Babiuk, author of Beatles Gear: All the Fab Four’s Instruments from Stage to Studio and Rolling Stones expert Greg Prevost, the 672-page book includes photos of the band’s actual instruments and other gear, as well as plenty of previously unpublished photos and images.

“This book has taken nine years to finish and I thank The Rolling Stones as well as the hundreds of people she helped make this historic document possible,” Babiuk said.
The hardcover edition of the extensive, instrument-centered history from Backbeat Books is out now.
