Zawinul Legacy Band Featuring Hadrien Feraud: Bass Solo and “Port of Entry”

Bassist Hadrien Feraud completely rips it up in this video of the Zawinul Legacy Band performing “Port of Entry.” The clip starts with a bass solo and you can almost see the smoke coming from his fingers as shreds across the entire instrument. The rest of the band then kicks in with the Weather Report song “Port of Entry,” which was penned by saxophonist Wayne Shorter.

The Zawinul Legacy Band also includes keyboardist Scott Kinsey, Katisse Buckingham on sax, Mike Baker on drums and Bobby Thomas, Jr. on percussion.

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
