Weekly Top 10: Marcus Miller Transcription, Aaron Gibson’s “Fly By Night”, Les Claypool’s Bass Auction, and More of the Best in Bass
What a week! There was just something magical about the bass videos this week – four of this week’s top 10 are ones we featured in the last 7 days.
But it wasn’t just videos that got No Treble readers excited this week. There was also the news of Les Claypool’s bass auction – for a great cause – that generated a lot of interest.
We’re thrilled to announce the return of our transcription series with Stuart Clayton. Stuart made his return big time with the transcription of Marcus Miller’s “Cee-Tee-Eye”. Such a great tune.
Ryan Madora continued her Bass Players to Know series with one of the funkiest bassists out there – the one and only George Porter, Jr.
Plus, I was super thrilled to see this week’s Reader Spotlight on Greg Gohde make the list.
That, plus some bass gear news makes up the top 10 most viewed stories and videos for the week of August 3-9, 2014. Thanks as always for reading, watching, commenting and sharing.
