Vulfpeck: First Place
If you’ve been enjoying Vulpeck’s latest album, Fugue State*, I bet you’ll really enjoy watching the guys recording the album too.
“First Place” is their fourth video released in support of the album. The tune was written by the multi-talented Jack Stratton, who plays piano on the track.
As always, Joe Dart is laying it down on bass, with some seriously gritty tone. This lineup also includes Theo Katzman on drums and Woody Goss on wurlitzer.
* If you haven’t been enjoying Fugue State, you need to get with it and grab the album already.
Looks and sounds like a fun band playing fun music. Bravo.

Okay, I just listened to Fugue State and now I’m convinced that these guys play music on Sunday morning in an African American church.
