Marcus Miller Band: I’ll Be There / Come Together
During the 2013 Jazz à Vienne show, Marcus Miller took the stage with his band and over just a couple of songs, took the audience for quite a musical ride.
In this clip, Marcus starts things off with his solo bass arrangement of “I’ll Be There” (which he recorded on Renaissance). As that song came to an end, he jumped into a cover of the Beatles’ “Come Together” with the whole band kicking it into gear behind him. Guitarist/vocalist Keziah Jones was called on stage, and the band really started grooving.
