Electro-Harmonix Introduces Bass Soul Food Pedal

Electro-Harmonix Bass Soul Food PedalElectro-Harmonix has announced a bass-specific version of their Soul Food natural overdrive and clean boost pedal. The company describes the pedal as designed to enhance the original sound of your instrument while retaining its essential character.

The Bass Soul Food is set apart with a gain stage, treble control and signal path optimized for bass guitar with more low-end definition. It also adds onto its predecessor with a Clean blend knob to retain your original signal. Other features include true or buffered bypass modes, a switchable -10dB pad, and 9-volt battery operation.

The Electro-Harmonix Bass Soul Food ships with an EHX power supply. It will be shipping soon with a list price of $117.79.

  1. You know something went horribly wrong when the guitar sounds are better than the bass sounds.
    Ofc. part of that is doing a Rock demo on a pair of the deadest flatwounds around… A new set of Chromes or Rotosound 77’s maybe, but those sound like old labella’s or something to me…
