How FATKING boring and disappointing is this after you’ve had the first whoaaaaa feeling… Deeply disappointing. It’s one thing to feel the rhythm. And is another to play out of tune dead notes because “I can do it”
I dig this. Vic is phenom, Derico Watson, Derico Watson on drums is a badass, and Steve kills it. The fact that these cats can call out a key and just ‘be on it’ without missing a beat is awesomeness. Even when they’re playing ‘out and around’ the groove is ALWAYS there.
Great grooves but how could the soundman allow the the drum mics to ring like that?
