Providence Unveils Bass Boot Comp BTC-1 Pedal
Providence has expanded their line of bass effects with the Bass Boot Comp BTC-1, a compressor pedal that includes Threshold and Mix effects to dial in a variety of sounds. The company describes the pedal as achieving “clear, bright and smooth compression” with the dry signal’s sound while the Mix control enables “spirited and unique compression.”
“Adding dry sound to your compressed sound creates more openness to your sound, and adding compression to your dry sound gives more consistency,” they write.
The BTC-1 also includes Level, Attack, and Sustain knobs for signal control. An LED indicator helps visualize the amount of compression by blinking brighter as more compression is engaged. It runs on either a 9-volt AC adaptor or battery.
The Providence Bass Boot Comp BTC-1 is available now with street price of $199.
