Supercool Pedals SPRITZ! Saturator Brings Bass-Friendly Compression and Tube-Like Drive

Supercool SPRITZ Saturator Pedal

Supercool Pedals has introduced the SPRITZ! Saturator, a streamlined pedal that offers clean compression or juicy saturation. Inspired by OTA-based compression circuits, the company calls it a natural fit for bass.

“It’s a modified version of the Ross Compressor and MXR Dyna Comp circuit with a modified tone response for more transparency and saturation,” Supercool pedal designer Jamie states. “This, of course, by nature, makes it great for bass guitar because it has way more low end than typical guitar compressors.”

The SPRITZ! has a simple control layout with Sustain controlling the compression and Volume controlling the output. A “tube simulation” circuit adds a JFET transistor into the mix for a “wide range of grit from natural amp-like breakup and harmonically-enhanced attack, all the way to searing-hot tube amp and overdrive tones.”

The Supercool Pedals SPRITZ! Saturator is designed and assembled in Canada. It’s available now for $179.
