Selah Poitier: I’ve Learned To Love Me

Selah Poitier shared her latest video with us, and it is killer.

In this clip, the bassist/vocalist performs her original, “I’ve Learned To Love Me,” live at Berklee. Love the old school vibe on this one. And dig that solo!

  1. Congrats Selah. Good Job!

MS Poitier, Thank for your ‘fine’ song and spectacular bass playing. Growing up in the segregated south in the 1960’s I often had to listen to R&B from over the hedge, across the tracks from nightclub doors that were such a mystery and intrigue to a young caucasian. Your skill and talent is not old school, new school, but ‘your school’. Singing from the heart and including your own experiences (in song) is the success ticket!
