Form Factor Audio Launches Bi Bass Amplifier Series
Form Factor Audio has announced the launch of the Bi 1000 and Bi 400 bass amps. Rated at 1000 and 400 watts respectively, the California-made Class D amps are packed with tons of connectivity and a 3-band EQ.

The company describes their new preamp as “designed from the ground up to deliver the type of clarity, response time and tone that you’ve never heard before.” Each amp as separate inputs for active or passive basses as well as a tuner output, an effects loop, an Amp Direct jack, and an XLR direct output.
The 3-band EQ is accented with a mid-frequency selector knob with options for 500Hz, 1kHz, 1.5kHz, 2kHz, and 2.5kHz. Other features include a built-in limiter and a Mute control.
The Form Factor Audio Bi 400 and Bi 1000 are available for preorder with shipping projected for later this month. The 400-watt amp has a street price of $799.99 while its bigger brother will go for $1,299.99.
