Overload Guitars Introduces the Taurus Bass

Overload Guitars & Basses Taurus 4-string Bass

Italian custom instrument company Overload Guitars has unveiled a new bass model called the Taurus. The four-stringer is customizable but comes standard with a swamp ash body, flamed bubinga top, and seven-piece maple/bubinga/wenge neck with a resin fingerboard. Its neck has a flat “D”-shape profile with a compound fingerboard radius from 16-inches to 20-inches.

It comes loaded with Nordstrand pickups in a J/MM configuration matched to a Meridian bass preamp. Other features include Luminlay side dots, a “Demolition” abalone custom inlay, a Hipshot bridge, and a 35-inch scale.

“The base model can be customized according to customer’s specifications and is available in different woods and pickups configuration, what ultimately makes it viable for any kind of music,” the company writes, adding that five and six-string versions are in the works.

The Overload Guitars Taurus four-string bass is available for order with a base price of $1,720.
