Dan Briggs Teases Nova Collective Album
Good news for prog-rock fans: Between the Buried and Me/Trioscapes bassist Dan Briggs has announced he’s got a new project called Nova Collective, and it’s getting ready to release an album.
The quartet also includes fellow Trioscapes member Matt Lynch and Haken alumniRichard Henshall and Pete Jones. They originally started with Briggs and Henshall working out some arrangements before filling out the rest of the members. “The band mixes their upbringing in classic progressive rock with elements of classical, jazz and world music to make a true modern fusion record,” their bio states.
Nova Collective’s debut album The Further Side is set for a March 10th release on Metal Blade Records. If you’re not convinced yet, check out this album trailer:
