Ampeg Now Shipping Classic Preamp and Scrambler Overdrive Pedals

Ampeg Classic Preamp and Scrambler Overdrive Pedals

After introducing the pedals at the Winter NAMM Show this year, Ampeg is now shipping the Classic analog bass preamp and Scrambler bass overdrive. The all-analog stomp boxes are compact effects derived from the larger SCR-DI.

The Classic offers up the company’s 3-band EQ complete with Ultra Lo and Ultra Hi shelving switches for dialing in your tone. A volume knob allows for controlling the output volume. The Scrambler overdrive has Drive, Treble, and Volume controls as well as a Blend knob for mixing in your clean tone.

Both pedals run on either a 9-volt battery or 9V DC power supply with true bypass switching. They are available now for $99 each.
