Seymour Duncan Unveils La Super Rica Fuzz Pedal
Seymour Duncan has a new pedal called La Super Rica. Translated to mean “super rich,” the silicon fuzz pedal is “inspired by iconic fuzz sounds” with a classic parametric midrange for versatility.
“First we brought [the classic fuzz circuit] up to modern standards by adding a true-bypass switch, an LED, and a standard 9v power connection,” the company explains. “We also bumped up the overall volume of the pedal so that it would be easier to match levels with your amp and added a low-contour voicing switch with three settings – so whether you’re using single coils, humbuckers, or even a bass, La Super Rica can keep up.” The mids are controlled with a frequency knob and a level knob.
The Seymour Duncan La Super Rica is designed and made in the USA. It’s available now for $179.
