Yamaha’s TRBX bass series will get two models this year. The company will be unveiling the TRBX604FM and TRBX605FM at the 2018 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.
Four and five-string basses, respectively, the TRBX604FM and TRBX605FM upgrade the bass’s looks with flame maple tops with matching headstocks. They carry many of the same features of their predecessors with Yamaha H series pickups and a 3-band EQ.
“With their exotic wood tops and headstock appointments, the TRBX604FM and TRBX605FM harken back to the days of the acclaimed TRB Series, while also providing modern pickups, flexible tone controls and the active/passive switch that have made the TRBX500 basses so popular,” Yamaha’s Dennis Webster says. “Representing the top of the line in the TRBX family of basses, the TRBX600 series offers a combination of looks, ease of use and performance that is unmatched in this price range.”
