Tool Announces Music Clinics Along Tour Dates
Attention Tool fans: the band has just announced the instrumentalists will be giving intimate music clinics in conjunction with their upcoming tour dates. Guitarist Adam Jones, drummer Danny Carey, and bass monster Justin Chancellor will offer attendees a “rare immersive dissection and performance” in the series.
“The discussions include [the musicians] walking attendees through a handful of the band’s songs, from the process of writing them to playing them live,” the band states. “Audience members are encouraged to ask questions via an open discussion, as well as mingle with the band following the session.”
In addition to the informational portion of each clinic, ticket holders will receive commemorative merchandise that will be exclusive to the series and limited to those in attendance. Even more, the events will include a traveling exhibit displaying unique items from Tool’s history.
The clinics will be held on the same days as six of the band’s eight concerts in May. Tickets went on sale Friday, April, 13th. Check out the Tool website for more info.
